Well, two days ago I first heard this band on bandcamp. The band immediately blew me away.
Let’s get to the facts:
The band – founded in 2007 – is based in New York and they call their musical style Post-Thrash Metal. I can live with that definition because I would never know where to put them. 
It was very funny realizing that there is no guitar.
“But hey, they sound hard…!”
Yes, they do. They are playing with 7-strings electric violins which are sounding very, very close to that guitar stuff me and YOU are always listening to.
(Of course there is a bass. It’s an 5 string bass, I think. )
I bet most people would never realize that there is no guitar. The sound of the “guitars” – erm – the violins is very warm and often full of aggression but can also be tender and… Never mind: Listen to them.
Their music is full of tension, never boring and the singer creates different feeling inside the listener.
The debut album was released very fast after they have formed in New York. The last output the EP Satyagraha was released in April 2010. It’s sad that I just know the EP at the moment because I’m hungry for more of their music. It’s so unbelievable that they are kicking out that energy and feelings without any guitar. I’m really blown away.
